Vaccination is safe and effective way to prevent diseases and save lives, especially now more than ever. Today there are vaccines available to protect humans against at least 20 diseases, for instance, tetanus, influenza, measles and so many more. If we put it together, these vaccines can save humans lives up to 3 million people every year.
When we get vaccinatedm we are not just protecting ourselves, but also those around us. For some people, who are seriously ill, are advised to not get certain vaccines, thus they can just depend on us, the healthier, to get vaccinated and help reduce the spreadness of the diseases.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination continues to be critically important. The pandemic has caused a huge decline in the number of children receiving routine of immunizations, which could lead to an increase in illness and death from preventable diseases.
